[Heihe, March 5, 2026] In order to further improve the adaptability of products to extremely cold environments and refine excellent quality, the Changan Cross-Cold Zone Test Base was officially opened in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province on March 5. This move marks an important step taken by Changan Changan in building special testing capabilities in alpine regions and fills the gap in the company's layout of test sites in cold regions. The company's executive deputy general manager Dai Yutao, deputy general managers Fu Jian, Zhang Bin, Hao Ming, Zhao Ruisheng and other leaders attended the listing ceremony.

The extremely cold environment is the "ultimate examination room" for testing car performance, and the cold area proving ground is the core support for car companies to break through technical bottlenecks and ensure product reliability.
Changan's cross-cold zone test site fully draws on the industry's advanced test site construction experience, is equipped with complete test facilities and a professional test team, and covers a variety of scenarios such as ice and snow mixed dynamic stabilization runways and multi-working condition test roads. It can meet the cold zone adaptability testing needs of fuel, pure electric, extended-range and other energy forms. It effectively breaks the dependence of previous cold zone tests on natural weather and provides a solid guarantee for normalized and refined cold zone testing.
This listing marks Changan's new upgrade in product verification system, establishing a test pattern covering all scenarios and all working conditions, and building an important platform for subsequent product iteration and optimization.

Listing means conquering difficulties, and activation means actual combat. The company's leadership team and technical staff successfully completed the 2026 high-cold calibration test at the base. During the calibration test, the temperature was as low as -35°C, replicating the use scenarios of severe cold, ice and snow, and low adhesion in northern winter. A team of nearly 30 professional engineers and major suppliers tracked the entire process and carried out all-round calibration testing around new models under development.
The test projects cover seven core sections, including vehicle power performance, three-electric performance, thermal management system, body stability control system, chassis winter test, vehicle environmental adaptability and reliability test, and electronic and electrical winter test, to comprehensively examine vehicle reliability, safety, stability and comfort.
This project further improves Changan's leapfrogging test layout and promotes the upgrading of tests in cold areas to normalization and precision. In the future, Changan Leap will continue to deepen its technological research and development, improve its product lineage, provide users with better commercial logistics solutions, and help enterprises develop high-quality development.

The test was successfully completed. The company leaders visited and expressed condolences to the technical team who stayed at their posts in the extreme cold, and sent cold-proof materials. They warmly reminded everyone to keep warm and ensure safety, and sent the organization's care to the hearts of employees.
